The candidate will lead a team of business development specialists and account managers to achieve advertising revenue targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for aggressively growing Affinity’s market share in India and in selected international markets. A successful candidate will bring a strong metric and performance-driven track record along with sound sales management techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Solely drive the advertising business of Affinity.com by developing new accounts and manage existing accounts
• Manage and direct a business development team
• Design and develop sales promotion strategies and co-ordinate execution with the Marketing team
• Evaluate and implement appropriate new sales and marketing channels to increase overall advertising revenues
• Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
• Manage sales activities such as contract negotiation, customer relations, and related financial reporting and performance
• Track performance of Business Development and Account Management teams

Required Skills:

• A post graduate with preferably marketing specialization
• Min. 4 years of sales management experience with minimum 2 years in internet or software industry
• Connections and knowledge of the Indian online advertising sector
• Friendly and aggressive closer. This individual must have a strong closing ratio.
• Highly self motivated
• Ability to work with a CRM system
• Ability to foster a co-operative work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skil
