The applicant will be expected to work in a team oriented environment tackling tasks at various stages in the development process ranging from requirements gathering to implementation and testing. Emphasis is placed on the candidate's contribution to the group and their advancement in understanding and helping extend and maintain Affinity's technical infrastructure.

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years of programming experience
• Expertise in programming languages such as C and C++
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Object Oriented
• Programming/Development concepts and practices
• Experience in designing and programming large scale, distributed systems, network programming
• Strong programming, analysis and design skills
• Working knowledge of Unix (all flavors)
• Strong analytic mindset, the ability to decompose complex problems into simpler components, and the ability to organize and track large scale project plans
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and RDBMS systems such as MySQL, DB2 and MS SQL Server
• Must be a good team player with excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Linux kernel developing, a big plus
