motivated for a UX/UI Designer- Web Properties position with our Product
Management Group, located in Mumbai. The applicant will be expected
to work in a team oriented environment, driving Product Development
throughout the Product Development Lifecycle to achieve business
goals. Emphasis will also be placed on the candidate's contribution
towards the team by demonstrating leadership, fostering camaraderie &
overall knowledge sharing. The applicant will be expected to play a
critical role in Product Development by adhering to strict timelines
in rolling out technology products for Affinity.
Responsibilities:
Design the UI
architecture, interface and interaction flow of applications and
experiences
Develop conceptual
diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs and prototypes
Develop and maintain
detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns
Use business
requirements and market research to assist in developing scenarios,
use cases and high-level requirements
Present design work to
the user experience team, product team and executives for review and
feedback
Required
Skills:
2-5
years of work experience as a user experience designer, interaction
designer, information architect or similar role
An
online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating related experience
Thorough
understanding of HTML, XHTML, and CSS required
Proficiency
with design tools including Photoshop, Corel Draw, Dreamweaver,
Illustrator
Experience
and knowledge of cross browser development techniques
Understanding
of AJAX and other Web 2.0 technologies
Strong
sense of responsibility and attention to detail
Strong
ability to deliver quality work with aggressive timeliness
Excellent
communication skills
Desired
Skills:
Experience
designing for mobile platforms
Knowledge
of web site load time optimization techniques
Knowledge
of SEO tips, tricks and techniques an added advantage
